Gr 6-8 Hiking in the mountains of Pakistan in 1993, Mortenson got lost. He found his way to a small village where the locals helped him recover from his ordeal. This young reader’s edition of Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin’s Three Cups of Tea details how Mortenson, through sheer determination and a lot of heart, managed to raise money and then build a school in Korphe, Pakistan. (He has since founded the Central Asia Institute and has built seventy-eight schools in Pakistan and Afghanistan.)
