Gr 2-5 This is a definitely British, self-indulgent conflation of poetry, short stories, and various dialogues. Ahlberg gives Dickens and Dahl two nods apiece as literary lights, once in a short story about a paper boy and another in a patronizing poem on passive learning that contains the lines "No more learnin', no more books....No more teachers' grumpy looks."
