Gr 2-5 Highlights of Jesus's life are told in a lively, pictorial style, with plenty of action verbs. The writing is informal, sometimes colloquial, and includes substantial dialogue. The stories include the Annunciation, the Nativity, the Magi, etc.; Simeon and Anna, John the Baptist, Nicodemus, Zacchaeus, Lazarus, and the Samaritan woman; Jesus's temptations in the wilderness; and the best-known parables and miracles.
