K-Gr 3 Another entry in the perennial crop of pumpkin books. This title takes readers from seedling to fruit through sharp, magnified color photographs and a simple, large-print text. The writing is clear and direct, and the illustrations are, for the most part, excellent. However, the book has somewhat of a "blind men and the elephant" approach.
