Gr 5-8 The language, emotions, and topics touched upon in these "teenage reflections" are merely eavesdroppings put down in verse form. They express serious concerns, such as politics ("The world is full of trash,/the government is running out of cash") and AIDS ("I am young./Therefore,/I am immune"), as well as the trials of dating, cheerleading tryouts, and maintaining coolness.
