Jay-Jay Okocha (Robbie Readers) (Robbie Readers)

By Orr, Tamra

Publishers Summary:
Augustine Okocha had been playing soccer in the streets of Nigeria since he was young, but he had never thought of it as a career. That attitude changed when he visited a friend in Germany and spent some time at soccer training camp with him. The other players loved him and he loved the game. Over the years, he helped lead his teams to great victories, including the Africa Cup of Nations. By 2006, Okocha, now known as Jay-Jay, was playing for Qatar and sharing his passion for soccer with children in his home country.
