Tender Morsels is a captivating fairy tale, a fascinating exploration of fantasy and reality, and a moving story about three young women. It is a challenging read. In the opening chapters, Liga is physically and sexually abused by her father and, later, gang raped by several boys. In a desperate attempt to end the pain, Liga throws her baby off a cliff , intending to follow the child over the edge.
