This set seeks to be the first comprehensive resource on the relationship of health and families with a theoretical and public policy focus. The encyclopedia lists entries alphabetically at the beginning of each volume but also includes a "Reader's Guide" grouping 350 entries into 11 general categories such as "At-Risk Conditions and At-Risk Situations" and "Factors Influencing Family Health."
