Gr 3-5 Although offering information in accessible and attractive formats is laudable, these series volumes fall short in other areas. Each book contains 14 double-page spreads that relate a few facts on the land of the people discussed and their food, clothing, art, and life before and after contact with Europeans. However, each spread has artwork that covers half the space so that the text is only two paragraphs long.
