After the publication of Chronicle, the first volume of Dylan's autobiography, and a host of books about his poetry (Christopher Ricks's Dylan's Visions of Sin) and songs (Greil Marcus's Like a Rolling Stone: Bob Dylan at the Crossroads), one would think that the mystical aura surrounding the bard from Hibbing, MN, would have lifted.
