Gr 1-3 When Mister Death arrives at Grandy Thaxter's house to carry her away, Grandy asks him to wait until she finishes her work, which of course will go faster if he lends a hand. With great equanimity, she piles so much work on the Grim Reaper that he is too exhausted, blistered, and sore to carry her at the end of each day.
